Project and research intern

The European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC) is a non-profit entity that unites 178 socio-cultural organisations from 39 countries in Europe and beyond. Our main action lines are capacity building, networking and advocacy. We organise conferences, training and staff exchange programmes, participate in research, data gathering and formulation of policy recommendations, create tools and publications, and connect our members with other actors from the cultural sector.

Over deze job

We are currently involved in various European projects, including three Horizon Europe projects (IN SITU, HeritACT, INTRACOMP), one Erasmus+ project (FULCRUM), and a research project about transition impact assessment. We are therefore looking for a dynamic and motivated intern to support the development of our research and cooperation projects. The person will join our international team based in Brussels.

Roles and responsibilities of the intern

  • Conducting desk research, literature review and policy mapping;
  • Assisting in the organisation of workshops and the creation of new partnerships;
  • Assisting in the drafting of reports, articles and other material;
  • Attending European project meetings;
  • Attending conferences and networking events.

Additionally, the person will also be asked to attend staff meetings and to contribute to the implementation and development of the JuST framework project, if needed.
