Disarming Design from Palestine (DDfP) is a Brussels-based independent design label working at the intersection of design, education, and cultural exchange. We foster thought-provoking designs from Palestine, developing and distributing useful objects that carry poetic as well as political meanings. Often rooted in experiences of everyday life in occupied Palestine, these objects function as cultural artefacts that invite reflection and dialogue, serving as tangible entry points into complex social, historical, and political realities.

We are looking for new board members to join our organisation. The board acts as a strategic and advisory body to the Disarming Design team, while respecting its operational and artistic autonomy. Board members are expected to contribute to prudent decision-making, uphold the principles of good governance and ethical responsibility, and act in the best interests of the organisation. Although the position is voluntary and unpaid, board members carry a shared legal responsibility under Belgian law.
