Cultural project manager
De kerntaak van het Pools Instituut Brussel bestaat erin het prestige van Polen en de bekendheid van de Poolse cultuur in het buitenland te versterken. Het Instituut streeft ernaar kennis en debat over actuele en historische ontwikkelingen in het Poolse intellectuele en culturele leven te stimuleren, en dat zowel in Belgiƫ als in het Groothertogdom Luxemburg. Daarbij wil het ook diverse vormen van artistieke, wetenschappelijke, maatschappelijke en educatieve samenwerking met de betrokken landen ondersteunen en bevorderen. Het Instituut zet ten slotte ook in op een betere kennis van de Poolse geschiedenis en van het Pools nationaal erfgoed. Het Pools Instituut Brussel bestaat sinds 2009 en maakt deel uit van een internationaal netwerk van 25 instituten. Het valt onder de bevoegdheid van het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken van de Republiek Polen.

The Polish Institute in Brussels is currently recruiting for the position of Cultural Project Manager, responsible for projects in the fields of performing arts and literature (music, theatre, dance, performance, and literature).
The role involves designing, coordinating, and monitoring cultural projects in Belgium and Luxembourg in cooperation with institutional, artistic, academic, and non-profit partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, coordinating, and managing cultural and artistic projects;
- Developing and maintaining collaborations with Belgian and international partners;
- Preparing, managing, and monitoring project budgets;
- Drafting and overseeing contracts, agreements, and other administrative documentation;
- Coordinating the logistics of events, as well as travel arrangements for artists and guest speakers;
- Producing project-related content and supporting project communications in collaboration with the Communications Team;
- Monitoring developments and trends in the relevant cultural sectors;
- Representing the Institute at professional meetings and cultural events.
Candidate Profile
- University degree;
- Proven experience in coordinating or managing cultural projects;
- Strong knowledge of the performing arts sector (music, theatre, dance, performance), literature, and/or visual arts;
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and capacity to work independently;
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with institutional and artistic partners;
- Excellent command of French and very good command of English;
- Good knowledge of Polish;
- Knowledge of Dutch will be considered a significant asset;
- Good understanding of the Polish cultural landscape;
- Good understanding of the Belgian cultural landscape;
- Proficiency in standard IT and office software tools.
