Spazio Nour is an artistic platform rooted in contemporary art and closely connected to its surrounding context. It functions as a meeting place where artistic practice engages with space, people, and place through dialogue, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Founded by artist Mahmoud Saleh Mohammadi, Spazio Nour began as a studio in Milan and evolved into an ongoing, site-specific and collective artistic project. In January 2025, it expanded to its current location in the 17th-century Kasteel Hof d’Intere in Belgium. The project continues to be shaped by the artists and communities involved, combining different artistic practices into a living and evolving framework. At Kasteel Hof d’Intere, Spazio Nour develops participatory workshops, exhibitions, artist residencies, and related artistic projects that focus on shared experience and public engagement.

Spazio Nour is seeking a motivated curatorial intern to join our team. This internship will offer hands-on experience in curating exhibitions and events, engaging with artists, creating an environment for creative collaboration and dialogue. You will have the opportunity to be involved in various stages of exhibition and event planning, from concept development to (de-)installation and public engagement.

What you bring:

  • Strong interest in contemporary art, curatorial practice, and cultural projects
  • Good research, writing, and communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and within a small team
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Basic knowledge of exhibition installation and logistics is an asset
